he watched the sun rise into the clouds as he drove. at least that would be what every other person observing would think was going on.
but he knew different.
he had seen him walking a few weeks ago, around this same time. strolling through the sky, his hand trailing beside him, as one’s hand trails through water. his hand cut through the sky and behind him he left a trail of gold. no one appeared to have seen him except himself. not everyone is as observant as he is at that time of the morning.
it seems he had been walking again today. gold peered through clouds where his fingers had sliced through.
and they thought it was just the sunrise.
but he knew better.
